USF SI faculty, students and alum attended the Florida Library Association Conference, Wyndham Orlando Resort, April 18-20.
It's official! New LIS Alumni Society
On March 9 students and graduates of the USF Library & Information Science Master's degree program voted to create an official LIS Alumni Society. The new society next meets May 18th at 6:30 p.m. (CIS 1046). For more information, check out the LIS Alumni Society website or Facebook page.

 SI student selected as National Library of Medicine (NLM) Associate Fellow
Congratulations to SI student Rosemary Hedberg who's been invited to become 1 of 4 National Library of Medicine Associate Fellows. Her one-year post graduate training will begin this September after her August graduation. The fellowship provides new librarians with a broad foundation in health sciences libraries and health services research.
Rosemary will also represent the School of Information this summer at the ALA Conference in Anaheim, CA as part of the ALA STudent to Staff program. . Read more
