Bachelor's of Science in Information Studies


The incredible pace that information and communication technologies have transformed our world mean that the next generation of information professionals must have the knowledge and skills to be leaders in a complex information society. They not only need to understand core technologies that our information world is built upon, but how this impacts people's lives and the mission of organizations of all kinds.

The B.S. in Information Studies, offered through USF's School of Information, offers students a number of professional and academic options. Students not only receive a well-rounded baccalaureate degree from a major university, they will possess the skills and confidence to start a career in a number of exciting domains. Moreover, they will be will prepared to further their education at the graduate level if they choose.
